Design of Illustrated Book to Foster Peace in Christ for Children During Exam
Abstract
According to Christian teachings, peace is both a gift and a responsibility given by God. Peace is a crucial concept for humans to have in order to navigate the challenges of life. One problem faced by many is academic stress, particularly among children aged 9-12. Academic exams are a common source of this stress, which can hinder a child's overall development. However, the existing information on cultivating inner peace in Christ during times of anxiety is often presented in language that is difficult for children to understand. This study uses observation, interviews, questionnaires, and focus group discussions to gather data for the design of an illustrated book. Haslam's (2006) Book Design methodology was utilized to create a resource aimed at helping children experiencing exam anxiety to cultivate and experience inner peace in Christ.
