Pendekatan Budaya Visual Dalam Melihat Gambar Bergerak
Abstract
Everyday life in the modern world is presented through screens in the form of images. One medium for conveying these images is moving images. In 2025, moving images dominate global data traffic, accounting for 53.72% data traffic. Therefore, it is important to be able to examine more deeply what is actually seen in the images scattered throughout everyday life. The study of these images will be closely related to the terminology of visual culture. This article will discuss the definition and approach of visual culture as a strategy for viewing moving images through a review and study of literature on related themes. The findings demonstrate a connection between moving images and visual culture, forming a connected cycle of processes that express everyday life through visible and invisible cultural aspects. This study has scientific implications in the form of offering a range of approaches that can be used to view moving images from a visual culture perspective.
