Penerapan Time Loop pada Struktur Cerita Film Pendek Parade Si Rambo

Abstract

This research was conducted to support the writing of the script “Over the Rambo”, in which the main character experiences erectile dysfunction and become trapped in a Time Loop after drinking the urine of his horse, Rambo. The Time Loop actually intersects with the Three-Act narrative structure. Time Loop theory “temporarily stuck in a (lousy) day” by Matthias Bru?tsch and the Three-Act Structure theory by Syd Field are used in this research. After applying these theories in writing the script “Parade Si Rambo”, it is found that Loop 3 occurs in scene 10C which is positioned precisely at Plot Point One, Loop 4 occurs in scene 10D-10E which is align with the Midpoint, Loop 7 occurs in scene 11-12 which corresponds to Plot Point Two; and scene 13 which corresponds to the Climax in the script “Over the Rambo”.
