    Moving image works, such as films, animations, social media content, and games, have become commonplace in our daily consumption. However, these works often leave questions that we wish to explore further. Unfortunately, not all aspects of moving image works can be thoroughly examined. We can only understand a work partially, through fragments or parts of it. This philosophy is behind the choice of the word "fragments" as the name of the conference.


    This conference provides an opportunity for undergraduate students interested in the creation and study of moving images in Indonesia, as well as enthusiasts of moving image works, to gather and explore the latest developments in the field.


    The conference will focus on current issues surrounding the creation and study of moving images in Indonesia, including:




    • Narrative and visual developments in film and animation




    • Technical advancements in film and animation




    • The influence of new media on the aesthetics of film and animation works




    • The history of film and animation



  • International Moving Image Cultures Conference (IMOVICCON)

    IMOVICCON (International Moving Image Cultures Conference) is an academic space for students, lecturers, researchers, practitioners, and moving image enthusiasts to exchange and share academic experiences and disseminate their recent research on all aspects of moving image cultures. The conference proceedings approach draws on the evolving moving image cultures that have become a huge inspiration for various research and publications. This proceeding is a medium for exploring the transdisciplinary nature of moving image, using various theoretical frameworks, approachable methodology and multiple scientific disciplines.

  • International Conference of Innovation in Media and Visual Design

    The International Conference of Innovation in Media and Visual Design (IMDES) Proceedings discuss the relationship between mass media, people, design, technology, and digital media creation from those interactions. The conference proceedings interdisciplinary approach draws on design, information, social science, and the humanities, offering/allowing to think/design what today’s design makes possible and invent new things on mass media and society can do using emergent technology. This proceeding is a sphere for those intellectuals who examine the conceptual design, praxis, and research discourse on the exploration of academic merits for the design field.

    Proceeding Comnews merupakan rangkuman hasil Conference on Communication and New Media Studies (Comnews) yang diselenggarakan setiap 2 (dua) tahun oleh Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
